MEC² Pack Raises $1,300 (approx.) for Maryland SPCA (2011)
MEC² Vice President, Michelle Wittig, was joined by members of Commercial Interiors, PSA Financial, Group Benefits Services, Cole Roofing, Finch Services, family members, and their four-legged friends. All completed a 1.5 mile walk-a-thon to benefit the Maryland SPCA’s largest annual fund raising event.
The Annual March for the Animals was held at Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park, in April 2011. A special thank you goes out to all of the MEC² associates and vendors that made financial contributions making this event a great success.

MEC² participates in Career Day at St. James Academy
In March 2009, the Director of Engineering, Steve Wagner, P.E. and LEED® A.P. visited St. James Academy in Monkton, Maryland to support Career Day. The students received a child’s MEC² hard hat as they learned about Mechanical Engineering.

MEC² Pack Raises $3,500 (approx.) for Maryland SPCA (2009)
Nine MEC² employees and their four-legged friends completed a 1.5 mile walk-a-thon to benefit the Maryland SPCA’s largest annual fund raising event.
The 14th Annual March for the Animals was held at Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park on Sunday, April 19, 2009. A special thank you goes out to all of the MEC² employees and associates that made financial contributions making this event a great success.

MEC² Pack Raises $2,400 for Maryland SPCA (2008)
Twenty-six MEC² employees and their four-legged friends complete a rain-soaked 1.5 mile walk-a-thon to benefit The Maryland SPCA.
The 13th Annual March for the Animals was held at Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Despite a pouring rain, participants, spectators and supporters alike enjoyed an afternoon of great activities, contests, demonstrations and entertainment. The March is the largest fundraiser of the year for the SPCA; and, in spite of the inclement weather, participants raised over $375,000!

Women of MEC² raise $1,700 for 2008 Komen Maryland Race for the Cure
Joining ranks with Women in ABC/Women in Construction, MEC² employees competed in the 5K Run, 5K Walk and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk.
On Sunday, October 19th, 32,000 participants walked, jogged and ran through Hunt Valley, Maryland to help Save Lives and End Breast Cancer Forever in a bid to reach a goal of $2.6 million in pledges and support donations.
