In 2012, the following MEC² employees celebrated their five-year anniversary. They are: Plumbing Foreman John Bathgate; HVAC Superintendent Johnnie Colon; Piping Foreman Jere Hampt; Plumbing Apprentice Eddie Owens, and Sheet Metal Apprentice Allen Wingate.
ACCA/HACC 2012 Apprentice Graduates

ACCA/HACC held its apprenticeship graduation ceremony in April 2012, at the Harford Community College Heat Center. MEC² had two apprentices graduate that evening: HVAC graduate Chris Boblitz and HVAC graduate Dave Hutchinson.

ABC Baltimore held its apprenticeship graduation ceremony on June 7th, 2011, at the Community College of Baltimore County. MEC² had two apprentices graduate that evening: Plumbing school-to-career graduate Eddie Owens and Sheet metal graduate Allen Wingate

PHCC 2011 Apprenticeship Graduates

PHCC Maryland held its apprenticeship graduation ceremony, in April 2011. MEC² had two apprentices graduate that evening: Plumbing school-to-career graduate Steve Secoski and Plumbing graduate Rick Ward (pictured at left).

Associated Builders and Contractors–Baltimore (ABC) 2010 Woman of the Year Recipient, Michelle Wittig, Vice President of MEC²
Congratulations to Michelle Wittig, Vice President, Mechanical Engineering & Construction Corp. (MEC²), as she has been named the 2010 ABC Woman of the Year. Michelle was honored at ABC’s Winter Gala on January 29th, 2011.
MEC² Recognized for Supporting Harford Habitat for Humanity
MEC² recently was recognized for helping Harford Habitat for Humanity provide affordable housing to the Cockran & Herbert Families in Harford County. The charitable effort was in conjunction with COPT’s Blitz Build.

MEC² brings home back-to-back victories at ACCA’s 13th Annual Golf Outing
MEC² took first place for the second year in a row hosted by ACCA at the Piney Branch Golf Club in Hampstead. HVAC Service Manager Alan King received the trophy from the outing’s Chairman, Ron Schmidt.

MEC² takes 1st place gross at ABC’s 2009 Golf Classic
MEC² took 1st place gross in the 2009 Golf Classic hosted by ABC at Turf Valley. The award was presented to Fred Kawa, Ryan Fields, Gene Fields, and Alan King by the Golf Committee’s Chair, Vic Victoriano.
